Countryside Interior Design

Country homes call for a different kind of attention. The scale is often generous, the architecture varied and the relationship between inside and out is central to how the spaces feel and function. Whether it is a listed stone house in the Cotswolds, a newly built country residence in Hampshire, a converted barn in West Sussex or a family estate in Shropshire, the best countryside interiors are those that respond to the building and its setting with the same rigour and creativity as any project in central London.

We bring exactly that. Our interior design work outside London draws on the same international network of makers, artists and craftspeople, the same commitment to bespoke commissions and considered material choices, and the same design-led approach that defines all our projects. The only difference is the context, and that is something we relish. Countryside properties often offer the space and freedom to be more ambitious, and we welcome the creative opportunities that come with that.

Our current countryside interior design project is a Grade II listed stone villa in Shropshire, undergoing a full renovation for clients relocating from London. The brief is for a warm, contemporary take on the country home: refined joinery, bespoke furnishings throughout, generous entertaining spaces and beautifully appointed guest bedrooms. It is a project that reflects how we approach this kind of work, with creative confidence, technical care and an understanding of how our clients want to live.

We are well practised in managing countryside commissions from our London studio, with regular site visits at key stages and strong relationships with regional contractors and suppliers.

If you have a country property and are considering an interior design project, we would welcome a conversation.
