The Initial Meeting & Brief

Getting to know our clients, understanding their lifestyle and what they wish to achieve with their home is key to everything we do. The first meeting is a relaxed, no obligation opportunity to discuss your ideas, specific requirements and for you to understand further how we work and what we can do for your project.

As well as getting to know each other and discussing the scope of the project, our aim of the meeting is to come away with a clear brief from which we can work to develop creative solutions and designs for your home.

Concept Design and Presentation

The concept design is developed as a creative and practical response to your brief. We put together a comprehensive presentation for you covering everything discussed in the initial meeting. The presentation is detailed, including plans, elevations, sketches, finishes and furniture selections to illustrate as clearly as possible the look and feel of the design proposal for your review and sign off.

Alongside the presentation we put together a budget based on the ideas presented and discuss the practical considerations for your project so that you feel confident moving forward with the design. An open and transparent approach to costing and providing clear information is key to building and maintaining a great relationship with our clients.

Design Development

Once the concept design is agreed we will start to develop the designs further with detailed plans, elevations and furniture drawings for the appointed consultants, construction team and makers. We work closely with a carefully selected network of trusted suppliers and craftsmen, as well as third party specialists such as architects, lighting designers and project managers where required to deliver the best possible results for your project.

We are used to working to tight deadlines and juggling multiple suppliers simultaneously. During this stage of the project we use our expertise to manage all these elements seamlessly to ensure your budget and ideas are maximised and everything is organised in the most effective way ready for implementation.

Project Management and Coordination

We oversee the implementation of the design during the construction phase with regular site visits and meetings, ensuring that we deal with any issues that arise along the way and that communication is clear. We help make critical decisions, reducing delays and the subsequent stress they cause as well as helping the whole construction process run smoothly, on time and on budget.

We manage the procurement and production of bespoke pieces, programming completion and deliveries so everything arrives to site when required ready for the final stage - Installation and snagging.

Installation and Snagging

We oversee the installation of all joinery, specialist finishes, furniture and accessories with a keen eye to ensure every detail is just right. By overseeing all these elements on your behalf we ensure that a potentially stressful time is well managed and you can look forward to seeing the finished results. Only when you are happy with every element of your home do we consider our work done.
